Our original concept bag designed in 1999, this was the proto-capsule bag. In large it is closest to an actual courier bag in proportion and function because it has a stabilising function strap which keeps it in place.
Design notes:
Influenced by New York courier's style and culture, the Utility Capsule has all the functionalism of a messenger bag. This design from the very first Pokit collection introduced the idea of '3D' design. It was considered groundbreaking because it increased the bag's volume and stretched storage into the pleated lid. And it's this concept that gives Pokit bags their distinctive organic shape.
We choose to use saddle stitch and thread on such an industrial design because quality and performance matter.
